Technical difficulty: This is a hill walking itinerary involving mountains of low altitude and little technical difficulty. However, the route poses considerable differences in altitude and in order to the journey in 5 or 6 stages a minimum level of physical fitness is required. You should bear in mind that the stages are covered in an estimated average time of 4 to 6 hours a day. Total distance: 106 Km Accumulated altitude change: 3715 metres Total estimated time: 30 hours Climate: In the Els 3 Monts region, a temperate Mediterranean climate predominates with the absence of a harsh winter marked by low temperatures. The rainfall is very variable depending on the season of the year, being more pronounced in spring and autumn. The average temperature is 15ºC and the average temperature throughout winter is around 6ºC and 23ºC in summer. Recommended season: We recommend spring and autumn as the seasons most appropriate to do Els 3 Monts, both because of the temperature and the scenery, although due to the mildness of the Mediterranean climate it can be done all year during mild winters and summers.
